That should be resolved in 2011 when we will endeavor to have updated schedules posted to the website throughout the season.

The 2010 AGM was very successful with a full complement of teams registering and paying their dues on opening night. The board discussed various options for integrating new teams in 2011 including opening additional nights of league play.
The 2011 AGM will be held on March 1, 2011 at the Northwest Lucky Labrador, 1945 NW Quimby in Portland. Team registration will take place 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. with the Annual General Meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. Each returning team must have either a captain or representative on hand to pay by check the 2011 registration fee of $200.

Strategic Planning
As bocce’s popularity continues to grow, demand continues to increase on the North Park Block courts. The board discussed various options for going forward including playing on private land, building courts at another park, and fund-raising for future growth and development of the league.
Action Taken:
1. Singles tournament will be for PBL members only. $15.00 on Registration night. $25.00 for late registration.
2. We will have a captains’ meeting early in 2011 to introduce and discuss the proposed new format for league play.
